Purpose

The Data Science Master Program (DSMP) is a certificate program for all students in master's programs across the university to acquire foundational and applied data science capabilities. Assuming advanced literacy prerequisites, the program aims to systematically develop the knowledge and skills from fundamentals to applications required to become a data science expert. Students who satisfy the completion requirements are awarded a certificate of completion. By learning advanced AI technologies and data utilization skills, the program aims to develop practical abilities for working in future applied fields.

Objectives of the Program

• From foundational knowledge of data science, AI, and machine learning, students broaden their understanding of deep learning, large language models, and generative AI, and acquire practical skills in data analysis methods, machine learning models, and generative AI through exercises.
• Students acquire specialized knowledge needed to work in applied fields as data science experts in future, while broadening their perspectives through exposure to initiatives and challenges at overseas universities, research institutions, and industries.
